Wyman Eileen "Jo" Wyman, 83, born in Columbus, Ohio May 25, 1930, died in New York City September 6, 2013, during surgery for rupture of an aortic aneurysm. She was the daughter of Grace and Joseph Wyman (former mayor of Grandview Heights), both deceased. She was a resident of New York City for 44 years and is survived by Kay Williams, her domestic partner. She will be profoundly missed by Kay, her writers' group in New York City, and her many friends. She graduated from Grandview Heights High School and Ohio State University. She had a career in radio/television and was a gifted comedy writer, crafting jokes for speech writers and comedians, humorous fillers for various magazines, and captions for cartoonists. She was a writer of short fiction and has edited many books and film scripts. She is a co-author of the thriller, Butcher of Dreams, and a recently completed, unpublished manuscript.
