Emily S. Kresheck Obituary
Kresheck Emily S. Kresheck, 74, of Springfield, passed forward on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 in her home. She was born on December 11, 1938, in Columbus, Ohio the daughter of Arthur and Nellie (Brown) Burget. Emily graduated from Columbus North High School class of 1956 and attended The Ohio State University. She was a member of the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church since 1969. She was founding President of the Osterlin Home Auxiliary, a lifetime member of the Community Hospital Auxiliary, Young Women's Mission Nearly New Shop, and a member of the Springfield Country Club. She is survived by her husband of fifty-two years, Neal Kresheck of Springfield; two daughters, Lynn Votaw of Ponte Vedra, Florida; and Laura Mulhall of Upper Arlington, Ohio; five grandchildren, Benjamin Votaw, Sarah Votaw, Katherine Votaw, Anna Mulhall, and Andrew Mulhall; one sister, Johanne Ryan of Billings, Montana; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Nancy Osterbrock, and Sally Petredes, and two brothers Gail Burget and James Burget. Emily had many interests including traveling, flowers and gardening, and was especially talented in sewing. She loved spending time with her family and treasured be a grandmother. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 12Noon in the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1801 St. Paris Pike. Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 10 a.m.-12Noon. Private burial will be in the Ferncliff Cemetery.
