RAWN Esther Pauline Fulwider Rawn, age 96, of Groveport, formerly Canal Winchester, Ohio, died on May 17, 2012 at Medical lodges in Dewey, Oklahoma. She was a retired teacher for the Groveport-Madison School system where she taught 4th grade for 22 years. She was a member of Brice United Methodist Church since 1941 and since 2008 attended Asbury United Methodist Church. Esther graduated from South High School in Columbus in 1933 and Ohio State University in 1937. She married Wilbur Perry Rawn July 7, 1940, in Columbus, Ohio. Survived by son, Will (Susan); daughter, Viola Schatzinger (Richard); grandchildren, Rachel and Penn Rawn; sister, Anna Marie Ford; cousins, Betty James and Bill Fulwider; nieces and nephews, Devoe, Ford, Motts and Rawn; and close friend, Nancy De Franco. Preceded in death by her husband W. Perry Rawn, parents R. Lester Fulwider and Sylvia Mary White Fulwider, step-mother Anna Fulwider, grandmother Rachel Kille White, and sister Erma Devoe. Esther was an avid participant in Masonic organizations.
