KELLOGG Evelyn Peggy June Kellogg, passed away on December 28, 2012. Survived by daughters, Beth (Dennis) Emmers, Maria (Tom) Riffe, Lori (Charles) Parker and Heather (Shane) Pauley; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents Carroll and Hazel (Slagle) Ritter and daughter Carol Kitts. A graduate of Central High School, she attended the Ohio State University, worked at the Battelle Memorial Institute, League of Women Voters of Ohio and Huntington Bank. While living in Marlinton, WV, she established 3 Girl Scout troops, serving on their Black Diamond Council, as well as on the WV State Highway Citizens Board. She was officially recognized in 1970 by the governor of WV for her work to bring life-flights to the area. Peggy taught children's church for many years at Marlinton United Methodist Church. Lord, hear our prayer: "At age 5, our Mom went by herself to church, seeking and finding you. She taught us to follow you, too. Please remember her now." Memorial service at 12Noon on Friday, January 18 at Reynoldsburg Alliance Church, 751 Rosehill Road, Reynoldsburg, OH. Committal to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bonner Community Hospice (520 North 3rd Ave, Sand Point, ID 83864) or League of Women Voters of Ohio, 17 S. High St., Suite 650, Columbus, OH 43215.
