Bohlmann Frederick Richard Bohlmann was born in Columbus, Ohio, on December 7, 1957 to Margaret and Richard Bohlmann. He passed away March 6, 2014 in Loveland, Colorado. Fred grew up in Columbus and graduated from Eastmoor High School. He attended Hocking Technical College and Ohio State University, which led to his career with Colorado State Parks for 29 years as a Park Ranger in some of the most beautiful sites in the state. Fred retired from Boyd Lake State Park in 2011 as Park Manager. He was the proud father of Garrett Bohlmann, who was born into his life in 1996. Fred is survived by his son; his son's mother, Lisa Neujahr, both of Loveland; his mother, Margaret Bohlmann of Columbus; sister, Carol (Kevin) Spatz of Cincinnati, Ohio; brother, John (Donna) Bohlmann of Ottumwa; nephews, Marshall and Jared Bohlmann and Philip Spatz; nieces, Elizabeth Spatz and Olivia Bohlmann; and his beloved Aunt Alice Mason of Wheeling, WV. Visitation will be at 12Noon on Saturday, March 15, 2014 and funeral service at 1 p.m. at EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 4171 E. Livingston Ave. in Columbus.
