Wilcox Frederick "Fred" Wilcox, age 59, of Apple Valley, formerly of Hilliard, was called home Saturday, December 7, 2013 at his residence after an extended illness. Born November 15, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio. 1973 Graduate of Hilliard High School. Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps Corporal served 1973-1977. Teamster for 28 years and retired as a truck driver from ABF. Fred enjoyed family, boating, fishing and cooking. Member of Christian Life Church. Preceded in death by parents William J. and Mildred (Couch) Wilcox. Survived by his loving wife, Nancy (Wright) Wilcox; children, Mandy Wilcox of Hilliard, Dusty (Suellen) Wilcox of Howard; grandchildren, Chelsea Cordle, Zachary Cordle, Cameron Foreman, Caden Foreman, Freddie and Layla Wilcox; great-granddaughter, Karlie Parks; faithful companions, Spikey and Tanker; brothers, James Wilcox of Las Vegas, NV, Richard Wilcox of Mansfield; sisters, Margaret (Emmitt) Robinson of Fayetteville, NC, Agatha Wilcox of Zanesville; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends and family 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main Street, (St. Rte. 161W), Plain City, where the funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2013 with Pastor Bud Mulford officiating and burial Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Hilliard.
