Jack M. Hulls Obituary
Hulls Jack M. Hulls, age 86, of Upper Arlington, passed away Monday, November 11, 2013. Jack was born and raised in Galloway, Ohio, son of the late Leo and Ethel Hulls. Jack graduated from West High School and following was drafted into the U.S. Army where he served during WWII. Jack was a gentle, sweet man who had a great sense of humor and made friends wherever he went. He was the owner of Hulls Realty and worked as a Real Estate Broker for more than 50 years. Jack was also a 28 1/2 year retiree from the City of Columbus Division of Fire where he served as Battalion Chief 5 Unit. He was a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels, a 50+ year member of the F & AM Masons, 32nd degree, Scottish Rite and also Aladdin Temple Shrine. Jack was also a life member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge #11 where he attained the highest degree of the Moose fraternity, that of Pilgrim Degree of Honor. In addition, Jack was a life member of V.F.W. and the American Legion. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Stella; sons, Ed (Bev) and Jack (Diane); daughters, Melanie (John) Tichenor, Becky and Debbie; step-son, James Shelton, Jr.; step-daughter, September Shelton; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Charles; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, November 18, 2013 with Pastor Larry Baker officiating at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where family will receive friends from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, and a Masonic service will begin at 5 p.m. and a Moose service beginning at 5:30 p.m. Pastor Larry Baker officiating. Interment Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Aladdin Shrine Hospitals, 3850 Steltzer Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43219 or to Mooseheart Child City & School, 155 S.
