Glaser James Milton Glaser of Worthington, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014, surrounded by his family. He was born in Lakewood, Ohio to the late Milton F. and Jane (Benz) Glaser. Jim attended The Ohio State University and earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Youngstown State University. He had an extensive career as an executive, holding management positions with; Westinghouse Electric Corporation Medium Motor and Gearing Division, Vice President of The Nuclear and Aerospace Division of Conax Buffalo, and Siemens Energy and Automation. Jim was an honest and ethical man. Nothing was more important than the love he had for and received from his family and friends. He was an outstanding athlete in many sports and loved snow and water skiing, running, sailing, bicycling, tennis, and golf. Jim is survived by his wife, Marsha (Rosselle); and his daughters, Kelly Hylant and son-in-law Patrick Hylant, Gretchen Emling and son-in-law John Emling; grandchildren, Meryl, Hartley, Greer, Elsa, and Jack; brother, Gary Glaser (Duchess); sister, Carol Pirnat (Bill); brother-in-law, Clayton Rosselle; his much loved nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Ted Gough. Jim was preceded in death by his sisters-in-law Judith Glaser and Emma Rosselle. A gathering to honor Jim is being planned for the near future.
