Wisemiller James Patrick Wisemiller, 70, died January 22, 2014 in San Diego, CA, from complications following surgery. He was preceded in death by parents Gerald and Florence (Shea) Wisemiller, and wives Carol (Dorward) Wisemiller and Yvonne (Barker) Wisemiller. Jim is survived by his children, Christine Pinney (Ken) of Columbus and Thomas Wisemiller (Staci) of Greenville, N.C.; and by grandchildren, Rachael and Seth Pinney and Tommy and Regan Wisemiller. Jim also survived by his brother, Gerald W. Wisemiller (Joanne) of Columbus. Also surviving are step children, Jon, Michelle, and Ken Barker. Jim is a graduate of The Ohio State University and the University of Wisconsin, where he earned a masters degree in accounting. Jim was an excellent duplicate bridge player and won the Spring North American Open Pairs Championship in 1965 thus becoming the youngest player to win such a title. He was an avid golfer and served as a volunteer official for the USGA in recent years. The children would like to invite friends and family to join them in remembering Jim and celebrating his life on Saturday, February 15, from 2-4 p.m. at Bravo Restuarant, 3000 Hayden Road.
