Marcum Pastor Jasper G. "Jack" Marcum, age 71, of Westerville, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 22, 2014 at St. Ann's Hospital, Westerville. Born July 26, 1942 in Red Jacket, WV. Pastor Marcum was enlisted for four years in the United States Air Force and in the reserves for an additional two. He was employed by Continental Can Co. for over 15 years. He later became a minister for over 39 years in which he served in the capacity of Evangelist for the Church of God for seven. He was the Pastor of the Plain City Church of God and was instrumental in the establishment of the Living Waters Church of God in Marysville, where he ministered up until his death. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved being outdoors. He was able to save many lives spiritually and in death physically by his organ donation. Preceded in death by parents Henry G. and Adath (Harmon) Marcum and sister Linda Hay. Survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Olline (Blackburn) Marcum, whom he married in 1966 in Wise, WV; daughters, Rhonda Marcum and Rochell (Jeff) Stone; grandsons, John Simms, Josh Simms, Brandon Jackson, David Stone, Jeffrey Stone; granddaughters, Cierra Jackson and Jacklyn Marcum; sister, Joyce Vest; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Living Waters Church of God, 10910 St. Rte. 42 N, Marysville, OH 43040, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014 and burial Northlawn Memory Gardens, Westerville with full military honors.
