In addition to her husband, Jack, she was preceded in death by her son David and two brothers John and Michael Eberle of Columbus, OH. Joan was adored by her eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was a woman who possessed a quiet calming presence with a twinkle in her eye for fun. She gave the greatest gift of self confidence to her children and their children. Joan showed her love through her gift of cooking for family and friends. Her sense of humor was pure delight, prompting her family to intend to write a book of the witticisms that effortlessly rolled out of her. She, indeed, walked with grace through this life.
