Campbell John "Jack" Campbell, of Dublin, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, August 23, 2013 at Emerald Crossing in Dublin. He was born September 11, 1931 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late John and Irene Campbell. He graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1951 where he was on the football team. He also attended The Ohio State University. Jack was a salesman with material handling equipment and began his own company in 1981 as JR Campbell Equipment Co. which later became Campbell Toyota Lift in 1986 until his retirement in 2007. He was an avid golfer. He played many courses throughout the United States, Canada, Scotland and Ireland. He was a member of Riviera Country Club for over 40 years. Jack is survived by his wife, Shirley, whom he was married to for 57 years; his children, Christopher Campbell of Dublin, Laura (Norm) Bagozzi of Dublin; and grandchildren, Cole, Brock and Sophia Bagozzi. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Barbara (Fred) Bornhorst and Beverly (Donald) Milarcik all from New Philadelphia; as well as many nieces and nephews in New Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. He is preceded in death by his sisters Helen Montgomery, Marion Stack and Irene Wood.
