CHENEY Judy Ann Cheney, age 71, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012 in her home surrounded by her family. Born in Ft. Wayne, IN on February 16, 1941 to the late Alvin H. and Rita Mensing Heine. Retired from OCLC (Online Computer Library Center). Judy was a member Mary Penrose Wayne Chapter of the DAR; First Families of Allen County, Indiana; Homesteaders of Allen County, Indiana; Ohio Genealogical Society; Palatines to America; Ohio Historical Society and Columbus Garden Railroad Society and proud graduate of The Ohio State University. She was formerly an active member of: National Association of Accountants; Epworth Methodist Church and Preschool, Marion, Ohio; Artisan's Guild; Beta Sigma Phi and Marion Country Club. Judy is preceded in death by husband David E. Cheney, brother William Heine and ex-husband Dan Artz. She is survived by sons, Greg (Candy Estep) Artz, Rob (Jodi) Artz and Tim (Dana) Artz; grandchildren, Mike, Alexa, Jas, Natalie, Lydia and Zachary; sister, Marsha (Ed) Baltes; brother, John (Barbara) Heine; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial Service 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Marion Cemetery, 620 Delaware Avenue, Marion, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a in Judy's honor.
