Bell LaDonna Bell, 59, was born January 25, 1954, in Benham, Kentucky. LaDonna is preceded in death by her parents Fred Grant and Roberta Frances. She is a Lima Senior High and University of Illinois graduate, where she obtained her BA in Social Work. LaDonna worked for Will County Job and Family Services, Joliet, and later Maryhaven, Columbus, until her retirement. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband Greggory Waddell Bell and her second husband Edward "Pete" Durrly. LaDonna is survived by her children, Quantesha Marie Bell and Eric Grant Bell, both of Blacklick; loving grandson, Marcus Anthony Bell; caring aunt, Carolyn Marie; five brothers and sisters, Paul, Steven, and Valerie of Columbus, Jean of Detroit, MI, and her brother, William (Helena) of Aurora, CO; step-sons, her Joliet family; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. LaDonna also leaves behind many friends, one most specifically, Linda K. Martin Dukes, her best friend and soul-sister since childhood. LaDonna was a free-spirited woman who enjoyed cooking, gardening, dancing, shopping, and decorating. LaDonna maintained an incredible sense of self, dignity, and pride, and always remained devoted to her children and family. Her family will receive friends at COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, on Thursday, October 10, from 5-8 p.m., where a funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 11.
