Felsenthal Laurence "Larry" Felsenthal, 71, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on February 23, 2013. Preceded in death by his parents Maryann and Monroe Felsenthal of Bexley, Ohio. Larry attended Bexley High School, The Ohio State University, and both graduated from and taught classes at Franklin University. Started his career as a CPA at Wyle, McVay and Wickline. Retired after 30 years from Schottenstein Investment Corporation. Member of Congregation Tifereth Israel, Jewish War Veterans (past commander), Schottenstein Chabad, ROMEOs, and volunteer with VITA and the VA Hospital. He was a loyal and giving person who loved his family and the community in which he lived. Enjoyed fishing, the movies, and always had a joke and a smile. Larry will be greatly missed. Survived by his wife of 49 years, Harriet; daughters, Debbie (Douglas) Stein, Amy (Marc) Lewis, and Lisa (Andrew) Welch; brother, Norman (Helen) Felsenthal; grandchildren, Miriam and Tamar Stein, Zachary and Claire Lewis, Jacob and Allison Welch, nieces, nephews and many beloved friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 26th at THE EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 3232 E. Main St. with Rabbi Harold Berman officiating. Burial will follow at New Agudas Achim Cemetery. Shiva will be observed at the Felsenthal Residence. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Congregation Tifereth Israel or YMCA Camp Willson.
