Lloyd L. Rinear Obituary
Rinear Lloyd L. Rinear, age 85, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2014 in Verona, Kentucky. He was born March 2, 1928 in Alliance, Ohio and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University. Lloyd was an electroencephalographic specialist and administrative assistant retiring from the State of Ohio. While living in Columbus, he was a member of Maynard Avenue United Methodist Church. Lloyd lived life to the fullest! He treasured time with his family and the "Deer Creek Gang"; enjoyed camping, boating and fishing as well as activities like bowling, playing tennis and softball. He also found camaraderie in a group affectionately known as the "Buckeye Nuts". He was preceded in death by his parents Louis Rinear and Ruth Cotner and stepmother Beatrice Rinear. Survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Norma J. (Force) Rinear; son, Craig Rinear and Karlene Smith of Lansing, NY; daughter and son-in-law, Rochelle and Bruce Krahl; grandchildren, Cristina Krahl, Cassandra (Patrick) Hensley and Lishelle Krahl. Family will welcome friends from 12Noon-1 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2014 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus, Ohio, where funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Columbus, Ohio.
