Long Marilyn Jo Long, 78, passed on Tuesday, August 5, 2014. She will be deeply missed by family, and by the many lifelong friends whom she cherished. Marilyn was born in 1936 in Marysville, OH, daughter of Eugene and Joan Huber, and sister of Sally Huber. She graduated from Marysville High School and The Ohio State University. While at Ohio State, she met the love of her life, Harold W. Long MD of Jackson OH. They married in 1957 and settled in Upper Arlington, where together they raised three children, Lora, Amy, and Brooks. Harold, a radiologist, passed away in 1984. In this time of loss, Marilyn continued to lead the Long Family, and returned to work at the Radiology Department at Ohio State until her retirement. In retirement, Marilyn traveled, enjoyed time with family and friends, and remained a die-hard fan of OSU athletics. Marilyn is survived by her sister, Sally Huber, Powell, OH; children, Lora (Darrell) Chaloupka, Houston, TX, Amy (Kelly) Long, Elmhurst, IL, Brooks (Alison) Long, Denver, CO; and grandchildren, Eleanor and Charles Long.
