Napier Marvin Napier, age 62, of Plain City, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, April 14, 2014 at his residence. Born August 13, 1951 in Sabina, Ohio. Retired from Ross Labs in 1992, Plain City Police Officer in the 70s and 80s, youth baseball coach for the Plain City Little League 1981-1986. Marvin was owner of Columbus Bail Bonds since 1987. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and avid OSU football fan. Preceded in death by father William J. Napier - 2001. Survived by sons, Shawn (Alice) Napier of Florida, Christopher Napier of Columbus; grandchildren, Bianca, Brady, Maddison, Hayden and Colin; mother, Wanda (Gillispie) Napier; brother, Roy (Peggy) Napier; sisters, Kathy (Jerry) May, Katherine (Junior) Smith. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main Street, (St. Rte. 161W), Plain City, where the funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 18, 2014 with Pastor Bill Webb officiating and burial Forest Grove Cemetery, Plain City.
