Mary Lou Russell Obituary
Russell Mary Lou Russell, age 82, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 25, 2014 at Kobacker House. She was born on May 3, 1932 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Wilton and Mary Lippert. Mary Lou was a graduate of Bexley High School, Class of 1950. And a member of the Tri Delta Sorority at The Ohio State University. After which she went on to work with the Ohio Bell Telephone Company. During her time living In Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, she worked with Lyon's Bath and Bed, Reed's Dry Cleaner and The Wardrobe. Mary Lou enjoyed her time living in Upper Arlington, Gambier, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania., and Hilton Head, South Carolina. Her greatest love was her four grandchildren; spending time with them and hearing about what they had done and achieved. Preceded in death by her husband Richard W. "Dick" Russell. She is survived by her son, David (Jane) Russell of Danville, PA; and daughter, Jennifer (Ron) Lachey of New Albany; grandchildren, Zach Russell, and Mia, Ava and Blake Lachey; sister-in-law, JoAnn (Bill) Wayson; niece and nephews, Lisa Frantz, Kevin Russell and Scott Russell, and their families; many special friends and neighbors. A loving mother, grandmother and friend, she will be missed by all who knew her. Graveside service and interment will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Union Cemetery, 3349 Olentangy River Road in Columbus. Andrew Hoover, Funeral Celebrant. Arrangements entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Road in Gahanna.
