Laurence Michael George Laurence, of Bartlett, Tennessee, was pronounced deceased on February 11, 2010. He fell asleep at his home computer desk while studying God's Word, and had a heart attack in his sleep. He was 56. He was born January 10, 1954, in Decatur, Alabama, the only son of George and Jean (Williams) Laurence of Dublin, Ohio, and they survive. He is also survived by his sister, Amy Rebecca Laurence of Dublin. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Patcey (Lenow) Laurence. Their matching grave headstones are in Memphis Memory Gardens. Michael was Technical Principal for FedEx Information Management Services. He was a 1977 graduate of Ohio State University College of Education; a member of Eta Kappa Nu Electrical Engineering Honor Society, Gamma Chapter of Tau Beta Pi, and Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. He was a graduate and marching band trombonist of Upper Arlington High School class of 1972. He was a life member of the Foreign Missionary Society of the Brethren Church, a member of Bellevue Baptist in Memphis, and a supporter of Disabled American Veterans and the Salvation Army.
