Jennings Nicole Marie Bashaw Jennings, 36, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2013 after a long battle with breast cancer. Nicole was born July 23, 1977 in Fremont, Ohio to Rick and Linda Bashaw. She graduated from Paint Valley High School, attended Miami University and graduated with an Associate's Degree in Nursing from Hocking College. She married her loving husband Joshua Matthew Jennings in 2000. She is survived by her beloved husband and children, Hannah and Noah; her parents, Rick and Linda Bashaw; her brother, Jon and sister-in-law Candace; nephew, Braxton and niece, Carter. She is also survived by her special in-laws, John, Rebecca and Lesley Jennings. Nicole worked at Nationwide Children's Hospital, first as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse and then as a Cardiology Clinic Nurse. She loved her career as a nurse as well as her patients and co-workers. She was an active church member of Grove City Church of the Nazarene. Nicole loved to visit Disney World stating "Because everyone smiled there." This was fitting because Nicole was always smiling. She was a devoted mother who enjoyed watching her children participate in all of their activities including baseball, soccer and gymnastics. Together, Nicole and daughter Hannah raised money to support The Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research. Visitation will be at 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Grove City Church of God, 4325 Harrisburg Pike. Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Grove City Church of the Nazarene at 4770 Hoover Rd., Grove City.
