WILLIAMS Richard Earl Williams, age 91, of Columbus, died November 11, 2012 at Mount Carmel Medical Center. He was born January 16, 1921 in Columbus, Ohio to the late William and Arminda (Groves) Williams. Dick enjoyed reading, listening to his collection of records, and travelling to Hawaii with his brother. Member of West Gate Masonic Lodge for 57 years, 50+ member of the Shriners, proud World War II veteran-serving in European Theatre, a graduate of Ohio State University, and retired from General Motors after 28 years of service. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters Mae Wipple, Grace Williams, Gladys Malone, Mildred Tustin, Edith Williams and brothers William, Fred, Larry, and Howard. Dick is survived by brother, Harold Williams; great-nieces, Linda Lee, Melinda Primmer, Sue (Greg) Stevens, Sandy Tustin, Meledy Boyer, Melia (Ken); great-nephews, William (Pat) Koehler, David (Kerri) Hendricks, Art (Bonnie) Maupin; many great-great nieces and nephews, and many loving neighbors, including good friend, Lydia Lorenzo. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 West Broad St., Columbus, where funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday with Rev. Edward Linville officiating. Masonic service will be held Thursday evening at 7:45 p.m. Contributions in Dick's memory may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice. Interment at Sunset Cemetery.
