In a recent tribute a former student stated "Mrs. Wolfe had a gift that few teachers have; the ability to balance high standards and expectations, firmness and discipline with genuine warmth and caring for her students." After her retirement in 1999, she worked part-time at Whetstone Gardens & Care Center in Columbus as a receptionist and at Palm Coast Data in subscription services following her move to Florida in 2004.
