FINDLEY Rosemary Hewitt Findley, of Fort Myers, FL, 86, passed away, at her home on November 1, 2012. On October 2, 1926 Rosemary was born to John and Florence Hewitt, in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from East High School, and The Ohio State University. She married William "Bill" R Findley in 1947. During her years in Columbus she was a property manager for Century City and Stewart Apartments. She was very active in the United States Power Squadron and its auxiliary the Sea Gals. She and her husband boated for many years on Buckeye Lake and Lake Erie. Homes were maintained at Columbus, OH, Buckeye Lake, OH and in Cape Coral, FL. She moved permanently to Ft. Myers, FL in 2001. She was preceded in death by Bill in 2008. She is survived by daughters, Deb Bittrolff (Steve) of Colorado Springs, CO and Cindy Land (Ron) of Indianapolis, IN; and sons, Doug of Columbus, OH and John (Jeanne) of Ft. Myers, FL; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and by beloved companion, Claude Smith. Friends may call Monday 6-8 p.m., EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 4171 E. Livingston Ave., where funeral service will be held Tuesday 2 p.m. Pastor John Birkner officiating. Entombment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
