POLSTER Ruth S. Polster, age 97, died Friday, December 7, 2012 at home. Ruth took care of her family, traveled extensively and enjoyed life with her late husband, Leo A. Polster. A graduate of The Ohio State University, Ruth was a CPA and Chief Financial Officer at Stevens Steel Supply. She is survived by step-sons, Ian (Carol) Polster and Ronald (Sandra) Polster; daughter-in-law, Arlene L. Polster; son-in-law, Murray (Mary) Berkowitz of Cleveland; grandchildren, Laura (Eric) Jolley, Marc Polster, both of Gahanna, Mara (Chris) Wilson of Chicago, Asher (Jenny) Polster of Reynoldsburg, Mitzi (Brian) Denser of Canal Winchester, Stephanie Berkowitz of Boston, Pamela Berkowitz of Chicago, and Max Polster of Morgantown, WV; great- grandchildren, Ryan, Joshua, and Devon Jolley, Leah, Ethan, and Anna Polster, Michael and Nathaniel Wilson, Nicholas Denser, Ayden Polster; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband Leo A. Polster, daughter Beva Berkowitz and son Steven Polster. She was buried December 9 at the old Tifereth Israel Cemetery on Alum Creek Drive. During her final months, Ruth very much appreciated the kindness and care of her caregiver, Kimberlee Latondress, and the support of the team at Summit's Trace and Odyssey Hospice.
