DUNN Sarah J. Dunn, age 54, of Worthington, Ohio, passed away on Sunday May 27, 2012 at Kobacker House in Columbus, OH surrounded by family and friends. Sarah maintained her strong will during her five month battle with cancer. She was born on October 20, 1957. Retired from teaching English in Columbus City Schools and from McGraw-Hill Publishing Company. Graduate of Whetstone High School, Class of 1975. B.S. in English Education from The Ohio State University, 1979 and M. S. in Library Science from OSU in 1981. Sarah was a Christian. She was Treasurer and member of Zen Columbus Sangha. Initiated to Alpha Gamma Chapter to Kappa Alpha Theta in 1976 at OSU. Sarah enjoyed Reiki, Chi gong, reading, meditation. Sarah was a creative, gifted artist in photography, painting water colors, making greeting cards and sand castings. She also enjoyed snow skiing and tennis. Preceded in death by grandparents Fred and Jane Smith, Edward and Val Dunn, uncle Michael Smith. Survived by parents, Edward and Katherine Dunn; sister, Jennifer Dunn (Richard) Miller and their children, Katherine L. Miller, Jon L. Miller, and Anne J. Miller; brother, Eric K. Dunn and his children, Ethan Dunn, Eileen Dunn and Patrick Dunn; cousins, Tom Jordan, Scott Jordan, Tracy Knauss, Todd Jordan, Sean Smith, Shannon Smith, Shane Smith, John Wagner and Mike Wagner; aunts and uncles, Patricia and Tom Jordan, Shirley Wagner and Shari Smith. Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME AT POWELL, 450 W. Olentangy St., (Powell Rd./St. Rt. 750/1/4 mile east of Sawmill Pkwy.), Powell, OH 43065, where a funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday following the visitation.
