Brown William C. Brown, age 83, of Powell and formerly of Dublin and Upper Arlington, passed peacefully at home on Monday, September 30, 2013. Raised in San Bernardino, CA and Grand Rapids, MI, he was the son of the late Clayton and Marguerite Brown. Bill attended Aquinas College and graduated from Michigan State University after serving in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a former charter member of Riviera Country Club and was very active in his children's and grandchildren's lives. An outstanding businessman, Bill was the president and owner of Manufacturers Components, Inc. where he developed many innovative foam fabrications. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife Rita and son Bob Brown, his sister Joanne Keating and brothers-in-law Paul Thibodeau and Robert Thibodeau. Bill is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Hughes of Powell; granddaughters, Alissa, Kristen, Stephi and Caroline Taglione; great-grandson, William "Liam"; sisters, Donna Brown and Maggie (Chuz) Alfred; sisters-in-law, Katie Thibodeau, Ann (Jim) Wolford and Yvonne (Tudor) Marks; many nieces and nephews; and special family helpers, Zamara Fiffe, Mindy Foster, Shelly Horch and Karen Yarrows. Bill was a parishioner of ST. BRIGID OF KILDARE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7179 Avery Road, Dublin, OH 43017 where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. THURSDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2013 with The Reverend Monsignor Joseph M. Hendricks, Celebrant. Family will welcome friends at Church on Thursday before the Mass from 10-11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center, OH.
