ROGERS William F. "Bill" Rogers, age 83, of Plain City, passed away at home Monday morning, January 7, 2013. Born February 22, 1929 in Columbus, OH to the late Lewis F. and Mary (Louch) Rogers. He will be greatly missed by family and friends and his loyal dog Ginger. Bill retired with 34 years with Columbia Gas of Ohio and was a Korean War Army veteran. Preceded in death by wife of 57 years Lina Marie (Vaughn) Rogers - 2010, son Timothy Jay Rogers - 1982, daughter-in-law Tina (Brofford) Rogers - 2000, brother Virgil A. Rogers and sister Gladys Shronk. Survived by son, William F. (Myrna) Rogers, Jr. of Plain City; daughter, Sonja Marie Rogers of Galloway; grandchildren, Tonya (Ted) Bolin, Freddy (Jessie) Burchett, Kelly Rogers, William F. Rogers III, Timmy, Amy and Ricky Rogers; nine great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Maranatha Communty Fellowship, 6240 Lucas Pike, Plain City, where the funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013 with Pastor Elton Yutzy officiating and burial Foster Chapel Cemetery, West Jefferson.
