Gladden William J. "Bill" Gladden, age 66, of Westerville, suddenly June 24, 2013 at home. Formerly employed by New York Central, Penn Central, Conrail and retired after 40 years from CSX Railroad where he worked in the Hilliard and Marysville yards. Graduated from Brookhaven High School and The Ohio State University. Army veteran of Vietnam War. Survived by his wife of 46 years, Patt; daughter, Gina of Columbus; son, George (Heather) of Cleveland; grandsons, Tony, Liam and Ethan; sisters, Jean Payne of Kettering, Tracy (Bill) Huffman of Pickerington and Sherri (Don) Baughman of Columbus; sisters--in-law, Hazel Powell of Phoenix, AZ, Sally Dean of Grove City and Pam Dean of Circleville; brother-in-law, Ron Rouse of London; aunts, Gay Hargreaves of Akron and Jennie Anderson of Zanesville; several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Preceded in death by his parents George and Bernice, and brother Robert. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. Rev. Jim Wilson, officiating. Interment Blendon Central Cemetery with Military Honors.
