David was born in El Paso, Texas to Luciano and Natalia Vasquez on December 16, 1946. He attended high school at San Fernando High School and graduated in 1966. He enjoyed riding his MY RECON (Harley), basketball, boxing, NASCAR, football and the outdoors. He was a member of AMVETS, VIETNAM VETERANS OF DIABLO VALLEY, VFW, WARRIOR WATCH RIDERS, where he took great pride in welcoming the troops home and honoring those who lost their lives serving this country. He served three years with distinction as a Marine in Vietnam. The discipline and patriotism he learned in the Marines never left him, as friends and family will attest.
