Fred died peacefully with his family by his side at the age of 91. Fred was born in Rome, Ohio to Fred and Clara Brundage. They moved to CA when he was 8 yrs old. He was raised in Oakland and graduated from Castlemont High School in 1940. He was a Veteran of World War II and served 6 proud yrs in the Navy. After the Navy, he met and married the love of his life, Searlla who proceeded him in death/ Fred is survived by his sons Jerry, Jim, and Rob. his daughter Joan de Bar, his son-in-law Chris, his daughter-in-law Debbie and many Grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Fred retired from Sheet Metal Union #216. He enjoyed Square Dancing, fishing, gardening, white water rafting, the outdoors, and he loved Casper's Hot-dogs. He will be terribly missed. Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Sat, Nov 9th at 1:30 pm at Grissom's Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo.
