Henry C. Bryant May 9, 1925 - Mar. 14, 2014 Resident of Richmond Henry C. Bryant entered eternal rest at his daughter's home on Friday, March 14, 2014 from natural causes. Henry was born on May 9, 1925 in Inglewood, CA to Mahlon and Laura (Beebe) Bryant, Sr. He was the 12th of 14 children. He worked for Southern Pacific Railroad for 46 ½ years with a stent in the Army in his early years at Southern Pacific Railroad during World War II. Henry earned the bronze star medal along with 8 other medals. He never talked about his war years except in general years. He was a proud but humble man. He is survived by his daughter Barbara (Joe) Sanchez and his son Kenneth (Barb) Bryant. He is also survived by two grandsons, the William Sanchez Family of Caldwell, ID and Jeffrey Fulgham of San Pablo, four great grandchildren and 2 ½ great-great grandchildren and two brothers. He was married to Jean Bryant for 41 years who predeceased him in 1989. He also lost two sons, Jack (1984) and Thomas (1991) as well as having lost 11 brothers and sisters. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Monday, March 24 from 2-8 pm to be held at Wilson & Kratzer, 455 24th St., Richmond, CA 94804. Funeral service to be held the following day Tuesday, March 25 at 12 pm also at Wilson & Kratzer. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, San Pablo. Wilson & Kratzer Civic Center (510) 232-4383
