Randy Torrez Resident of Pacheco Randy passed away unexpectedly on 11-25. He was one of a kind! Randy is survived by the love of his life, high school sweetheart and wife of 45 years, Denice, his loving children, Monique (Dennis), Dustin (Kim), Casey (Jennifer) and his beautiful grandchildren, Nico, Ava and Jace Torrez. Randy also leaves his best friend and brother, Ed (Kim) Torrez, brothers John Torrez and Steven Jones and many beloved family and friends. He was preceded in death by his Mom, Dottie. Randy was a standout athlete at College Park High School earning all league honors as a running back in 1966. He was proud to have served his country in the USMC as a LCPL from 1967-68. Oorah! He was decorated with a Purple Heart after being wounded in action in Vietnam. Randy came home and his dreams came true when he married Denice and started their family. Randy's family was the light of his life. Randy was a well known hairstylist in the community for 37 years. He was a dedicated coach, mentor and friend. He coached at JOBL, Rebels and CPHS. He touched so many lives with his love for life and his passion for coaching the game. He loved his animals; his Harley, fishing, golfing and he never met a buffet that he didn't like. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, 12/1 at 2pm at Morello Hills Christian Church.
