As we pursue and live our lives to the fullest we often lose touch with our relatives and friends, but not in our hearts. So I speak for the Lippert family who witnessed and shared Renate wondrous journey especially her passions for life.
In the last few years, we wanted to be more in touch but as is often the case the opportunity slips by. We wanted to fulfill Renate's wish and our wish to see and revisit shared memories especially those shared by Renate and Waltraud.
Waltraud, a cousin and a life long friend since the early days in Germany as well as the rest of the Lippert family witnessed Renate's extraordinary life, her recovery from heart surgery to raising a family in Texas. Renate was a loving devoted mother and a non-judgmental friend. Renate was a proud participant of the Special Olympics and always enjoyed being around her family and friends. She will be missed.
Our deepest sympathy to all of her family, especially husband George, and the children Elaine, Kathy and Michael.
