Bilisario "Bill" Abilez, Jr., 53 passed away on Friday, October 29, 2010 in El Paso, Texas, He was a lifelong resident of El Paso and attended Coldwell School, Austin High School, EPCC (Associates), Texas A & M University (BA) and UTEP (MA). Bill was an instructor for EPCC for 25 years and served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He loved officiating; he officiated numerous high school football and baseball games. He was a member of the Sun Bowl Association and he volunteered for Pet Guardian, where he loved to work with the animals. His passions were trains, photography and his caring for his numerous pets. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Abilez, Sr., brother, Peter Abilez, grandparents, Pedro and Petra Saucedo, Aunt, Maria Estella Valles and uncle, Henry Saucedo. Survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Alma Fraga Abilez, mother, Virginia S. Abilez, brothers, Daniel, Anthony and Rene Abilez, sister, Elizabeth Abilez. Numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Crestview Funeral Home with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm. Funeral Service at 11:00 am, Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Primera Iglesia Bautista Mexicana at 1212 N. Stevens St. Interment will follow with Military Honors at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Abilez, Anthony Abilez, Rene Abilez, Fernando Fraga, Hector J. Aguirre, Daniel Portillo, Everett Saucedo and Chris Ramirez.
