William C. (Pat) Dudley passed away peacefully at his home he loved so dearly, on August 22, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. The oldest of 5 children, Pat was born in Whitehouse, Texas where he attended school. Born into a farming family, his love and devotion to the land and animals followed him throughout his life. Pat was always proud of, and loved his Upper Valley home he shared with Trudy, his wife of 66 years, who predeceased him. It was there he kept horses, and raised cattle. He found true peace and solitude with a shovel in his hand, tending his beloved Tyler Roses. A World War II veteran, Pat's background as a Police Officer and insurance adjuster ultimately lead him into his interest in Law. After completing Law school, he moved with his family to El Paso in 1959 when he opened his first Law Practice. He immensely enjoyed his career as a well respected trial lawyer until his retirement from Dudley, Dudley & WIndle in 1995. He is preceded in death by his cherished wife and partner in life, Trudy and son Bob. Pat is survived by his sons, Paul (Beverly) Dudley, Michael (Rebekah) Dudley; grandchildren; Patrick (Julie) Dudley, Keith (Allison) Dudley, Blair (Brian) Wittneben. Tyler and Hillary Dudley, Ryan and Woodson Dudley. Great Grandchildren, Cameron and Cole Dudley, Simone and Paul Dudley, Lane and Grey Wittneben. He is also survived by his brother, James Eston Dudley, and numerous nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters in law. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to his loving and devoted caregivers Terry Lopez and Carmen Villa and to Michele Aboud and CIMA Hospice. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Memory Gardens of the Valley at 9:30AM, 4900 McNutt Rd, Santa Teresa, New Mexico.
