Bradford J. "Brad" Gerald, age 62, of Erie, died unexpectedly on Friday, January 17, 2014, at his residence.

He was born August 11, 1951 in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., a son of the late Ralph and Winifred Gerald. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, during the Vietnam War.

He worked in the movie industry as a stunt man in several movies, including "The Gauntlet," with Clint Eastwood. He was a longtime commercial fisherman on Lake Erie, alongside his friend Captain Ron Zielinski, aboard the "Henry-N."

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his girlfriend, Beth Brown, and their beloved pet dog "Precious."

He is survived by one brother, William Gerald (Maryann), and two sisters, Nancy Nordin (Lew), and Mattie Gerald Rieger, all of Erie. Also surviving are nieces and nephews.
