Charles A. Meyers, Jr., age 60, passed away at his home in Erie on Tuesday, February 5, 2013. He was born in Erie on November 9, 1952, son of the late Charles A. Meyers, Sr. and Ruby E. Bliss Meyers. Charles had lived in Erie all of his life. He was employed with Plastek and had previously been employed with Skip's Tires and Penelec. He was a past member of the East Erie Moose Club. Charles enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, and playing WII with the grandkids. He also enjoyed playing poker and watching his beloved Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians. Survived by his wife of 40 years, Sindy L. Hayford Meyers; one daughter, Lee Brandt of Erie; two sons, Charles A. Meyers III (Theresa) and Shawn Meyers (April) all of Erie; a son-in-law, Jerry Brandt of Erie; two brothers, Walter "Skip" Meyers (Paula) and Robert Meyers all of Erie; 13 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Meyers. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road on Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service there at 8 p.m. conducted by Rev.
