Charles Robert Folk, 66, of Auburn, Wash. passed away unexpectedly on December 31, 2013. Charles was born on September 9, 1947 in Erie, Pa., the son of the late Hosea Folk and is survived by his mother, Dorothy Fetterman of Girard, Pa. He is further survived by his sons, Dennis Folk (Jeniffer) and Mike Folk (Tina), both of Seattle, Wash. Also his brother, Les Fetterman (Lisa) of Erie and his sister, Darlene Salhoff (Brent) of Edinboro, Pa.; a fiancé, Lorinda Ramos & step-daughter, Michelle Ramos of Auburn Wash. Mr. Folk also had four beautiful grandchildren that he adored. Chuck, known to family members as "Butchie" was very proud of his service in the military. He served in the United States Navy for six years and was deployed during the Vietnam War. A memorial service will be held locally at the American Legion Post 742, 8 Maple Dr., Fairview, Pa. at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2014 with a light lunch to follow. A committal service with military honors will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday January 8, 2014 at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Wash.
