Claire Elizabeth Glass, 16, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 6, 2014. She was born on June 3, 1997. She is the daughter of Donald (formerly of Erie) and Bonnie (Woodfill) Glass of Gahanna, Ohio.

Claire was junior at Columbus Academy, where she was active in the school's Journalism Department and Social Justice and Sustainability Committee. She spent several summers at Duke as a member of DUKE TIP. Claire had a beautiful Mezzo soprano voice that graced the school's choir and the Columbus Children's Choir. She loved to perform on stage and was active in community theatre, where she had several leads. Claire had a tremendous compassion and empathy for others. She was a member of the Girl Scouts #1342. She enjoyed many various activities, especially her involvement in Special Olympics. She also volunteered at Ronald McDonald House.

In addition to her parents, survivors include grandparents Donald and Ann Glass of Erie, Ronald and Mary Woodfill, a brother and sister Emma and Max Glass, her Aunt Jennifer Fisher, formerly of Erie, and other aunts and uncles of Michigan.
