He was born in Erie, Pa., on October 1, 1956, son of Lonzo Arrington, Sr. and the late Deanna Stevens Arrington. A lifelong resident of Erie, he was a 1977 graduate of Academy High School and was a self-employed handyman. He was a veteran of the U. S. Coast Guard. Cleveland was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church, where he was active in Sunday school and the Baptist Training Union. He enjoyed singing, dancing, reading and telling jokes (he was quite the comedian). He loved spending time with his family and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sparkle Joy Arrington; a brother, Tracy Arrington; his stepmother, Emma Arrington; his paternal grandparents, Cleveland and Suzanna Arrington; his maternal grandparents, Grady Stevens and Annie Keyes; and a nephew, Andre Phillip Meredith. He leaves to cherish his memory a son, Joshua Brown and two daughters, Tosha Brown and Jessica Arrington (Charles Evans, III), all of Erie; two brothers, Lonzo Arrington, Jr. and Billy Arrington, both of Erie; three sisters, Rose Meredith (Stephen) of Austin, Texas and Lois Arrington and Samantha Dykes, both of Erie; an uncle, David Keyes; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, 4 to 8 p.m., at Morning Star Baptist Church, 327 E. 23rd St., and may attend a service at the church on Tuesday, 1 p.m., conducted by Elder Burnell Reid, Sr., Pastor of Refugee Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, Syracuse, New York. Interment will be in Erie County Memorial Gardens. Funeralization was by House of Law Inc., 9406 Frankstown Rd., Penn Hills, Pa.
