E. Marcella Wright, age 88, of Erie, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013, at St. Mary's at Asbury Ridge. She was born in Erie on January 9th, 1925, the daughter of the late George Crotzer and Florence G. Day Crotzer Terry. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and the Women of the Moose, in Coral City, Florida. She also served many years as an officer for the Ostro Apartment Council. She loved to cook and sew, and hundreds of her cross stitch masterpieces can be found in friends and families homes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond P. Wright, son Greg "Olie" Olson, great grandson Vincent Hartman, and son-in-law John Toddy. She is survived by two sons, Herbert Olson and wife Lori of Tampa, Fla. and Thomas Olson and wife Kris of Georgia; two daughters, Rickie Toddy of Ashtabula, Ohio and Kathie Kikola and her husband Dennis of Wattsburg; daughter-in-law Linda Olson of Erie; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a memorial mass on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 1553 East Grandview Blvd., with the Reverend Raymond W. Hahn officiating. No calling hours will be observed and inurnment will be in Whispering Pines Cremation Garden. The Burton Wintergreen Funeral Home, 2532 Norcross Road, Erie, PA 16510, is in charge of the arrangements.
