Edward G. Anderson, age 67, of Wesleyville, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Erie on May 9, 1947, son of the late Edward and Kathleen Anderson.

Ed was retired military with the U.S. Air Force, following 21 years of service. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Era. Ed was an avid golfer, participating in several golf leagues in the area. He was a member of the American Legion, Carl Neff Post #571.

Ed is survived by his daughter, Heather Dovenspike; twin sons, Matthew Anderson (Caryn), and Eric Anderson (Veronica), all of Butler, Pa.; three sisters, Mary K. Baker of Ripley, Sue Miller (Dave) of Albion, Linda Rocco (Armand); two brothers, Gerald Anderson and Mark Anderson, all of Erie; four grandchildren, Maddison and Zak Dovenspike, Josh Harrison and Kaytlin Anderson; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Norma O'Connor and Cynthia Anderson.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., and are invited to attend the funeral service there on Monday at 10 am. A full military service will follow at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery, conducted by the American Legion, Carl Neff Post # 571. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
