Frank S. Amoroso, age 82, of Erie, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Erie VA Medical Center. Born March 6, 1931 in Corry, he was the son of the late Albert and Anna (Giorgianni) Amoroso.

He was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the United States Marine Corps. Frank was employed at Hamot Medical Center in the maintenance department for many years. He also worked for Lignitech Limited as a cabinet maker.

Frank was preceded in death by his first wife, Dolores D. (Kacerski) Amoroso; and his second wife, Dolores M. (Briggs) Amoroso.

He leaves behind the best friends a person could be blessed with, Joe and Jean Sappington, as well as many other close and valued friends.

Friends are invited to a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Peace Church, 2401 West 38th Street on Monday at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow at Calvary Mausoleum.
