Frank Wodka, 92, of Erie, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2013 at the Pennsylvania Soldiers and Sailors Home. He was born March 15, 1921, son of the late Joseph and Pauline Czajkowski Wodka, Sr.

He served in the U.S. Army and was a recipient of the American Theater Ribbon, Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon with two Bronze Stars, Philippine Liberation Medals, Good Conduct, World War II Victory, and one Bronze Service Star with Philippine.

He retired from the Erie Streets Department and after retirement he worked for Munsch Fisheries in Fairview. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph, Jr., Chester, and John Wodka; and two sisters, Anna and Veronica.

Survivors include three nieces, Barbara Carpenter, Nancy Malone, and Mary Jane Weed, all of Erie.

Services will be Monday, December 16, 2013 at the Edward J. Garr Funeral Home, Inc., 459 East 12th Street, Erie, PA 16503 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be private. Condolences may be sent to
