Margaret Larrabee, 60, of Erie and formerly of Vandergrift, Pa., died Monday morning November 19, 2012 at UPMC Hamot following a brief illness. A resident of Erie since 1979 she was born in Colorado Springs, Colo. on August 2, 1952 a daughter of the late George A. and Margaret Quigg Larrabee. Margaret graduated from Kiski Area Senior High School and went on to earn a B.S. in Education from Penn State University. She worked with the Barber National Institute as a clerk of records for 30 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting and crafts. Survivors include one sister, Beverly Shotts and her husband William of Erie; one brother, Clifford Larrabee and his wife Linda of Upper Darby, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will not be observed and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C.
