Robert J. Moses, 77, of Harborcreek, died Tuesday October 1, 2013 at St. Vincent Health Center following a brief illness. He was born in Chicago, Ill. on March 10, 1936 a son of the late John and Agnes Dillon Moses.

Robert proudly served as a Tech Sergeant in the United States Air Force for 22 years, including during the Vietnam War. Most recently he was a mental health counselor with Stairways Behavioral Health for ten years. He was a member of Lamb of God Lutheran Church, the Siebenbuerger Club, American Legion, and VFW. He was an avid golfer and bowler.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Jean Reinwald Moses; one son, Robert Moses and his wife Janis of Girard; two daughters, Kim Maciukiewicz and her husband Peter of Rome, Ga. and Robin Fike of Erie; seven grandchildren, Anthony and his fiance Marsha, Bryan and his wife Angela, Joshua and his significant other, Katie, Kelly and her significant other Ricky, Travis and his significant other, Rebecca, Katherine, and Kristy; six great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Road, on Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to services there on Friday at 12:00 noon. Burial with military honors will follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
