Ronald J. Reich, age 81, of Wesleyville, passed away Monday, August 26, 2013 at Twinbrook Medical Center. He was born in Erie on December 20, 1931.
Ron was a 1950 graduate of Wesleyville High School. He was employed for 40 years with Smith Meter, retiring in 1995. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army
, serving in the Korean War
. Ron enjoyed Pirates baseball and NASCAR.
Ron is survived by two sons, Ronald A. Reich (Sheila) and Rob D. Reich (Melody); one daughter, Melissa Sauers; three grandchildren, Ronald, Richard, and Nicole Reich; and three great-grandchildren, Ronald, Maxwell and Haydan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Reich; his son-in-law, Keith Sauers; his mother, Alberta Reich; his sister, Joyce Fritts; and his aunt, Gertrude Reich.
Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 p.m. until the time of the funeral service there at 8:00 p.m., conducted by Rev.
