Obituary Condolences

Mr. Sekula, 83, of Newark, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 12, 2013, at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Center in Newark. Born on December 19, 1929, in Waterford, Pennsylvania, he was one of ten children born to the late Julian and Mary (Janusz) Sekula.

He is survived by his children, Kathy Davenport of Brookville, Ohio, Judy (John) Tomcisin of Newark, Gail (Matt) Condra of Bellbrook, Ohio, Steve Sekula of Stafford, Virginia; 11 grandchildren, four great grandchildren; a brother William Sekula of Erie, Pa. and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Sekula and three sisters and five brothers.

A funeral service for Stephen T. Sekula will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of the Bruker & Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st Street, Newark, Ohio (740-366-3343) with Pastor Don Frederick officiating. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery in Newark. Friends and family may call from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home and one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday.
