Thaddeus (Ted) F. Duda, age 67, of Erie died Monday, April 29, 2013 at Edinboro Manor. He was born on May 18, 1945 in Harborcreek, Pa. to the late Leon and Anna Mokwa Duda. Ted was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Army. He was formerly employed at Swanson Erie Tool and Dye Company and Marion's Barbershop in Erie. Ted enjoyed fishing, drawing and painting. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Bernard Duda; brother-in-law, Theodore McMillen; and good friend, Patty List. Ted is survived by daughter, Laura Eaton of Conneaut Lake; son, David Duda and wife, Olga of Fla.; brothers, Leon Duda of North East, Frank Duda and wife, Brenda of North East, Richard Duda and wife, Melissa of North East; sister, Catherine McMillen of Erie; sister-in-law, Marianne Duda of North East; grandchildren, Kevin, Kyle, Kristian, Alex, and Daniel; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends are invited to the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 S. Lake Street, North East on Thursday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
